Multi-sig, i.e., multiple signatures, is a security method for authorizing asset transactions with multiple signatures, which can enhance the security and reliability of transactions and avoid the impact of a single point of failure, applicable to the management of high-value assets or the multi-party collaboration of asset management.
Request Processing Flow:
Initiate Request - Approve - Collect Multi-Sig - Broadcast - Complete
A group's multi-sig members have permission to participate in the multi-sig. After creating or joining a group in CoinEx Vault, you can activate and use the multi-sig wallet. All on-chain operation requests initiated by the wallet need to be signed by multi-sig members in the group (if the approval process is enabled, the approval should come first before the multi-sig), and only after the required number of signatures is satisfied can the request flow to the next step.
Note: The number of multi-sig can be modified in “Group - More - Multi-sig Management - Multi-sig Mode”.
Step 1: Open the request.
Click “Requests - Pending” and find the request you need to sign.
Step 2: View details.
Click “Details” to view and confirm the request details.
Step 3: Signing / Batch Signing.
After confirming that the requested information is correct, click the “Sign” button at the bottom (or click the “Sign” button in the “Requests - Pending” list).
Click “Sign” in the double-check pop-up and complete the signature verification with the CoinEx Vault App.
[Batch Signing]
If there are multiple requests in the “Requests - Pending” list that require your signature, you can tick requests to be signed at once (the signature results of the batch signing need to be consistent), and click on the “Batch Signing” button.
Make sure all the selected requests are correct, click “Sign”, and use your CoinEx Vault App to complete the signature verification.
