Step 1: Visit the official website
Visit the official website https://vault.coinex.com on the web side.
Step 2: Connect your wallet
Click on the “Connect Wallet” button and choose to view the Bluetooth Connection or USB Connection tutorial below, depending on your desired connection method.
Connection method 1: Bluetooth connection (for iOS and Android mobile devices)
- Switch on Bluetooth. Please make sure that the Bluetooth function of both your devices (computer and mobile phone) is enabled.
Enable mobile phone Bluetooth: Open the CoinEx Vault App, click “Bluetooth” on the home page or go to “My - Bluetooth Management”, complete the authorization of the system Bluetooth function according to the prompts, and enable Bluetooth on the “Bluetooth Management” page. Turn on Bluetooth in the ‘Bluetooth Management’ page.
Enable Bluetooth on your computer: Click “Start Connection” and the system will automatically search for nearby devices that can be paired with CoinEx Vault.
- Pairing Device. Select the device to be connected and click “Pair”.
If “Bluetooth Management - Pairing Key” is enabled, the first time you log in (connect to the wallet), you will be asked to enter the pairing key shown in the App in the web pop-up window.
Once you have entered it correctly, click “Confirm” on the web side. After successful device matching, proceed to the next step.
Connection method 2: USB connection (for Android mobile devices only)
If you are using a MacOS computer, please ignore the Install Driver step.
- Install the driver (Windows only):
- Connect your computer to your Android mobile phone
- Download the Zadig driver from https://github.com/pbatard/libwdi/releases/download/b730/zadig-2.5.exe
- Click on “Options -- List All Devices” and select your mobile phone model.
- Select WinUSB
- Click Install Driver / Replace Driver to install the driver. If the installation fails, please try to plug in the USB again.
- Once the installation is complete, close the dialogue box, the computer and phone will resume normal communication. You can start connecting your wallet.
- Connect your wallet to your computer via USB. Please make sure that your mobile phone has downloaded the CoinEx Vault App and created/imported a wallet.
The first time you connect a device, a pop-up will appear; click on it to select the device you want to connect. If the Connect Cold Wallet pop-up appears, select the device you want to connect to.
Once connected, the page will show you the connected devices. Select the device you want to authorize.
- The first time you connect a device, a pop-up window will be triggered; click “OK”.
Please note that if you close the pop-up window without clicking “OK”, you need to unplug the USB cable and reconnect the device when you connect it again.
Step 3: Register your account
If you are connecting to your wallet for the first time, follow the instructions to complete the avatar settings, email, and verification code, and then click “Next”.
Step 4: Authorisation verification
When the authorization prompt pops up on the webpage, use the App to agree to the signature authorization and wait for a while to connect.
If this is not the first time you connect to the wallet, but you have not logged in for more than 30 days, or you have manually revoked authorization of your browser, you will need to re-enter the email verification code and then verify the authorization.
Now your CoinEx Vault Web is ready!
